Hi, I’m ojachan 🙂 【第8課】 Lesson 8. Fujisan wa Takai Desu【i adjective】

I was a cram school teacher in Japan. I taught Japanese from elementary to junior high school students. Don’t you want to know how to learn Japanese like Japanese kids? This lesson is meant for students that are beginners at Japanese.

⭐️This lesson is following the textbook “Minna no Nihongo”. (*not perfectly)

⭐️I’m going to give a lesson easier to understand for Japanese learners without following textbook’s orders.

Minna no Nihongo 4: Fujisan wa Takai Desu【i adjective】

There are two kinds of adjectives in Japanese. 

One is い形容詞 i-keiyoshi , the other is な形容詞 na-keiyoshi.

⭐️When you make a negative sentence, there is a conjugation of adjective.

Conjugation of i-adjective
忙し + ない = 忙しない
難し + ない = 難しない
+ ない = 高ない

これは 赤い花です。
Kore wa akai hana desu
This is a red flower.
あちらは 新しい先生です。
Achira wa atarashii sensei desu
That is a new teacher.
それは 面白い本です。
Sore wa omoshiroi hon desu
It is an interesting book.
富士山は 高いです。
Fujisan wa takai desu
Mt. Fuji is high.
あなたは 美しいです。
Anata wa utsukusii desu
You are beautiful.
あなたにとって 日本語は 難しいですか。
Anata nitotte nihongo wa muzukashii desuka
Is Japanese difficult for you?
私は 忙しくないです。
わたしは いそがしくないです。
Watashi wa isogashiku naidesu
I am not busy.
